1993 - after the disintegration of Czechoslovakia and
formation of two independent states: The Czech republic and Slovakia our
Slovak hockey players had to fight for their return into world´s hockey
elite – the Czech ice hockey representation automatically began the
successors of Czechoslovakian hockey school, Slovak representation fell
into C. category Slovaks felt this as an act of big injustice and
misjudgement.

1994
- World championship in C category in Slovakia- Slovak representation
leaded by Julius Šupler won that championship. Our representation moved up
to B category.

1995 - the World championship in B category in
Bratislava, our representation again leaded by Julius Šupler won and they
again moved up to A category.

2001 – The World championship in Petrograd,
Russia- won a silver medal.

2002 –
after failure on Olympic games in Salt Lake City Slovak representation
travelled to world championship and finally won a gold medal.

2003 – the World championship- won a bronze medal.

School before the year 1989:
- 1971 Masters of Europe,
- 1972 World champions and Masters of Europe,
- 1976 World champions and Masters of Europe,
- 1977 World champions and Masters of Europe,
- 1985 World champions.
