Beginnings of the cultural stays of our students abroad

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • The train Družba to the former Soviet Union: twenty five chosen students from our school, led by the prof. Gogova and Lietavova participated on the travel by the train Družba to the USSR in the period between 11/5/1975 - 24/5/1975. The journey was very successful. The students came back full of impressions, and good experience. The program was very rich, participants could visit three big cities in the USSR: Kyjev, Moskow, Leningrad. Our students were welcome by Russian students who organised nice meetings. These meetings, especially the international night of družba in Kyjev comfirmed, that the youth always find the common speech by the dance and music. The atmosphere of friendship, beauty of visited historical sites, or the newest success of the science was showed off in Moscow and Kyjev. In Kyjev the students visited Kyjevsko - Pečovská Lavra, Museum of the Ukrainian arts, the Palace of the pioneers and the Museum of Lenin in Petrodvorec (Leningrad - St. Peterburg) made this travel a unnique experience.

  • The partership with the school in Hungary: the agreement of the cooperation was signed in the school year 1979-80 between the Secondary Technical School in Bratislava and Secondary Technical School of Transport in Szombathelyi in Hungary. The directions of the stated schools signed up the agreement based on the following rules: the cooperation between two schools had to strenghten the relationship and to enable better reciprocal acquintance of both countries, the cooperation enabled to form friendlier relationship among pedagogical and other colleagues from both schools and their students, it sustained the exchange of the experience and iniciated the exchange of the pedagogical and educational material.
     

  • 1985 - The Minister of the Education of the German democratic republic visited our school
     

  • Work groups in Bohemia: our students participated at work groups picking hops in 70ties. There had always been an interest from the sutdents´side. They started with picking the hops in Čeradice and in Kličín. The students worked in two shifts: the first one from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m., the second one from 1 p.m.  to 9 p.m. At work students became more skilful and achieved good results. At one shift they picked more than 2 025 kg of hops, that was the regional record of Kličín in 1974. The students were acoompanied by the following emploees of the school: Ing. Sloboda, Ing. Lukačovský, prof. Stančík.
     

  • The period 70ties - 80ties: in the autumn period professional excursions of the 3th and 4th grade students were held regularly. These excursions aimed at professional and physical development. The students visited engineering works in Slovakia, Bohemia and Moravia. E.g.: n. p. Avia - Letňany in Prague, Jawa in Tynec on the Sázava, Kovofiniš in Ledeč on the Sázava, factories in Přerov, Břeclav, Ledeč on the Sázava, Ostrava, Uničov, Chrudim, Mladá Boleslav, Agrostroj Prostějov, ČKD Blansko, KPS Brno.The students had and opportunity to see production halls of machine and automobile factories. The theory joined the practise and the students got new knowledge. The students of the 4th grade visited the International exhibitions in Brno every year.
